Eugenio Farina
Eugenio Farina, architect and designer, was born in Varese. After graduating in Architecture and Industrial Design, he began working as Sales Director in the family business, a position he held until 2000. In 1999 he also began to collaborate with Institutes of Industrial Design as a teacher of design and creative processes.
In 2005 he founded ART and THINGS, a studio that deals with all-round design; in recent years he has designed interior furnishings (Pregno Mobili), awnings (Gibus), household appliances (DGF and SAL), garden tools (DGF), a flight simulator (Professional Show), Softair masks (20Nuovi), jewellery (Costa Paolo), eyewear (Allison SpA ), communication (Young and Simple), furniture (Ronda Design), sofas (True Design). Intense activity of Artistic Direction: Studio Beat, Spazio AnnaBreda, Officina di Stile Kronos, "Gioielli in cerca d'autore", Classico Innovativo and teaching activity at Institutes (from 2004 to 2015 Direzione Didattica di Scuola Italiana Design di Padova) and Companies.
The Biblis seating series is characterized by the presence of aesthetic values derived from the Home environment transferred to the contract sector, blending the warmth of the home with the minimalist language typical of public space.
