BL Studio Associates played with light, textures and carefully selected furniture to complete the offices of Banca Transilvania in Bucharest, Romania, ranked among the top 3 banks and blue chip on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
At first glance, the perception of space may seem to be based solely on the visual sense. But careful observation reveals that this visual space is enhanced on a perceptual level by auditory, tactile and olfactory experiences. Perspectives in which the furnishings, with their shapes and finishes, play a significant role. The designers have calibrated space distribution and furniture choices to produce a complete perceptive experience.
The result is a true interaction between form and light in space that acquires value through the deliberate incorporation of the elements of

furniture.
The vision intertwines with elegance and functionality: everything revolves around the main core, the “Private Banking” client.
It was a challenge for the designers to take over the existing building and complete it inside out in order to meet the requirements of the architecture of Bank Transylvania’s “Private Banking”, both in contemporary and historical terms. And while historic architecture has its charm, modern architecture has the ability to inspire: when these two worlds of old and new come together, the results can be majestic.
